DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday at VFW Post 467, located at 519 Poole Road in Westminster, on Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Rain date: July 18.) The celebration will begin with an opening ceremony featuring the Old Line Statesmen Barbershop Chorus, followed by live entertainment from Stone Country Band at noon, Stillwater Band at 4 p.m., and music by DJ Scott between performances. Families can enjoy kids’ games, face painting, raffles, 50/50 drawings, and food and drinks available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, and outside coolers are not permitted.
