DESCRIPTION:McDaniel College’s annual Green & Gold Challenge returns Oct. 1-8, 2026, bringing the McDaniel community together to support Green Terror student-athletes. The week long fundraising challenge supports McDaniel’s 24 athletic teams and more than 400 student-athletes each year. Donations to the Green & Gold Fund provide resources designed to enhance the student-athlete experience and support students both on and off the field.\nDuring the challenge, student-athletes, coaches, alumni, parents and friends are encouraged to rally support for their favorite Green Terror teams. Contributions can help teams compete for additional funding through challenges, matching opportunities and prizes.\nThe Green & Gold Challenge is part of McDaniel College’s Reaching New Heights: The Campaign for McDaniel College, a comprehensive fundraising campaign focused on supporting students and strengthening the college community. Community members can participate by making a gift, supporting a specific athletic team or sharing the challenge with friends and family through social media, email or text.
