Marie Upperco Douglas, 92, of Westminster, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born April 25, 1933, she was the daughter of Leon and Treva Upperco and the devoted wife of the late George Douglas for 57 years. A graduate of Western Maryland College, Marie dedicated her life to teaching in Carroll County and later at Carroll Christian Schools. She was a member of Church of the Open Door and lived her strong faith daily. Remembered for her deep love, warmth, and selflessness, Marie is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many who loved her.
