Arthur J. Martin, Sr., 92, of Eldersburg, MD, passed away on August 27, 2025. Born in Scranton, PA, and raised in Throop, he was a U.S. Navy Air Force veteran and a dedicated public servant, retiring after 30 years with the Social Security Administration. Art held degrees from Springhill College and The George Washington University and spent three decades teaching business and management at community colleges. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Art is survived by his wife, Ann, a large and loving family, and many stepchildren and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife and three sons.
