Gilbert Mason Connolly, 91, of Hampstead, MD, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born April 23, 1934, in Bare Hill, he was the son of the late Elwood and Catherine Connolly. A U.S. Army veteran, Gil served as Military Police at Fort Hood, TX, before a long career with Commercial Credit in Baltimore, where he met his beloved wife, Nancy. A devoted member of Church of the Open Door, he joyfully served in ministry and supported Carroll Christian Schools through his baking and grilling. Gil loved baseball, golf, and cheering for the Colts and Orioles. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
