Theodore “Ted” Keadle Wise was born on August 29, 1938, in Boonsboro, Maryland, to Paul and Mildred Wise. A hardworking and devoted family man, Ted worked over 40 years as a supervisor at Monotype Composition in Baltimore before retiring in 1998. He and his wife of 55 years, Irene (Thomas) Wise, enjoyed traveling and taking cruises around the world. Ted loved history, reading, baseball, and music—especially the Detroit Tigers and classic rock bands like Three Dog Night and Steppenwolf. Predeceased by his wife and son Jeffery, he is survived by his brother Daryl, five children, thirteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
