Joan Ann DeWees, 83, of Westminster, passed away on November 1, 2025, at Carroll Hospital. Born October 14, 1942, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Rader and the beloved wife of the late Thomas D. DeWees. Joan was well known as a school bus driver in the Sykesville and Eldersburg areas and later worked in food service at Fairhaven and St. Paul’s School. She was fun-loving, adventurous, and devoted to her family, friends, and grandchildren. Survived by six children, 17 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, Joan joins her husband Tom in eternal peace and love.
