Charles Elmer “Mack” McKinney, 93, of Sykesville, MD, passed away November 3, 2025, at Northwest Hospital BridgingLife Hospice. Born June 23, 1932, in Glade Springs, VA, and raised in Bakersville, NC, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret McKinney and the devoted husband of the late Olive L. McKinney for 50 years. Charles worked for Asplundh Tree Expert Company for 38 years, retiring in 1987. He loved football, gardening, hunting, and playing mandolin in his church band. He is survived by loving family, including children, grandchildren, and caregiver Frances Cooper, and was predeceased by several brothers and his grandson, Eric.
