Janice Lee Dews passed away peacefully at home on November 13, 2025. Born February 19, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Louis W. and Anna W. Phillips. Janice retired from English American, where she worked in an administrative role. She cherished time with her family and her little dog, Daisey. A member of Sandymount United Methodist Church and the Maryland Eastern Star Chapter, she was devoted to her faith and community. She is survived by her children Stephanie Fisher and Walter Dews, three grandchildren, her sister Francis Joyce Reed, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother-in-law James Reed.
