Marvin Burton Cornish, Sr., 92, of Easton, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, at his home in Westminster, surrounded by family. Born to Andrew Davidson and Hazel Smith, he was lovingly raised by John and Mary Cornish. Marvin graduated from Robert Moton High School and earned a Bachelor’s in Education from Maryland State Teachers College. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and retired after 31 years as a Carroll County teacher. A gifted pianist and lifelong music director at Mt. Gregory United Methodist Church, he shared his talents with countless students. He is survived by his wife Sharon, children, and extended family.
