Mildred “Millie” Elderkin, 96, of Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, passed peacefully on November 22, 2025. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Adeline and Henry Batzer and the beloved wife of Clarence Elderkin, who died in 2008. Millie is survived by sisters Lillian Chapman and Joan Tregoe; children Donna Baker, Michael Elderkin, and Karen Krueger; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her gentle, loving spirit, strong faith, and devotion to family. A Celebration of Life will be held December 5, 2025, at Krug Chapel, officiated by Rev. Charles Marshall.
