Vera K. Lauterbach, 97, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2025. Born September 23, 1928, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of George and Eva Kelley and the beloved wife of the late John W. Lauterbach Sr. Vera was the devoted mother of John Jr., Grant, and Craig; grandmother to 13; step-grandmother to 2; great-grandmother to 25; and step great-grandmother to 2. A gifted pianist and vocalist, she served faithfully in church music ministries and as a Sunday School teacher. Remembered for her deep faith and unwavering love, she leaves behind a large and cherished family.
