RK’s Catering “PitCrew” is a locally owned, small business specializing in BBQ-style catering, homemade sides, and hometown hospitality. What started as a group of family and friends volunteering their time to prepare food at Winfield Fire Department events has grown into a successful full-time career for owner Ricky Warner.
Ricky and many other PitCrew members discovered their passion for cooking through generations before them — his mother, grandmother, and other fire department and Ladies Auxiliary members who passed down their skills, work ethic, and love for community.
After the passing of his father, Ricky Warner Sr., in 2007, Ricky continued the legacy of pairing great food with cherished community connections by building RK’s Catering from the ground up.
Today, while still volunteering with the Winfield Fire Department, the PitCrew takes pride in providing customized catered meals to residents across Carroll County and beyond — serving everything from elegant weddings and intimate baby showers to simple backyard barbeques.
RK’s Catering also believes in giving back, proudly partnering with local nonprofit organizations such as Carroll County 4-H, Ride for Responders, Harrison Mule Days, Toys for Tots, local fire departments, Winfield & Sykesville youth sports, Several charitable golf tournaments, and many more!
You can also find the PitCrew serving up pit meats and sides made fresh to order at events spanning from the hills of Western Maryland, throughout Carroll County, and all the way to the shores of Ocean City.
