Henry Melvin “Hap” Jones, 91, of Westminster, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2025. Born May 11, 1934, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Louis Edward and Sydney Jones and the devoted husband of the late Lucille Marie “Lucy” Jones, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. A proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, Hap enjoyed a 45-year career with Bendix Field Engineering, retiring as a logistics manager. A devout Catholic and lifelong baseball enthusiast, he cherished family, faith, humor, and simple pleasures. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, and many loved ones who will remember his laughter and love.
