Steven G. Hildenbrand passed away on December 18, 2025, at age 80, in Towson, Maryland. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pamela, his daughters Gail Kulp and Melissa Rhoton, his granddaughter Lilly, and his brother James Hildenbrand and family. Steve retired in 2012 after 32 years as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Maryland, overseeing Veterans Affairs and public safety cases. A 1967 UNC graduate and All-American swimmer, he coached and officiated swimming for decades. Steve and Pam were longtime members of Deer Park United Methodist Church.
