L. Kathleen “Kathy” Wedeking, 60, of Elkridge, Maryland, passed away on December 17, 2025, at Accent Care Hospice at Franklin Square Hospital. Born December 9, 1965, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Carl Heinz and Leonora Robina Wedeking and stepdaughter of June A. Wedeking. Kathy is survived by her brothers William Marion Wedeking and John Patrick Wedeking, and several nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by siblings James R. and Carole May Wedeking. Kathy proudly served in the United States Navy as an operating room technician, retiring in 2000 as a Petty Officer Second Class Hospital Corpsman. She loved dogs, especially Teddy, and enjoyed photography and drawing.
