Esther Darlene “Dottie” Lowman, 83, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, passed away on January 3, 2026. Born September 11, 1942, in Highland, she was the daughter of Estie and Mary Hobbs. Dottie was the beloved wife of Harry Thomas “Tom” Lowman for 65 years and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed horseback riding, sewing, traveling, bowling, softball, puzzles, and cheering on her children and grandchildren. After raising her family as a homemaker, she worked at Farmers and Mechanics Bank and Montgomery College. Her family was the heart of her life.
