Jeffrey Scott Hutsell, 56, of Westminster, passed away January 17, 2026, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born June 11, 1969, in Frederick, he was the beloved husband of Maria Elisa Hutsell, his partner of 33 years and wife of 25. A 1989 graduate of Westminster High School, Jeff worked as a chef at Lorien in Mount Airy. Known as “The Mayor,” he loved sports, cooking, fishing, and cheering for the Washington Redskins. Tenderhearted and joyful, Jeff brought people together and cherished his family, especially his granddaughter Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, many friends, and his loyal dogs, Lucky and Rusty.
