Elizabeth Alice Heffner Prise, 80, of Westminster, passed away Feb. 6, 2026. A Gettysburg native, she was a graduate of Francis Scott Key High School and Maryland General School of Nursing. She devoted more than 42 years as a registered nurse at Carroll Hospital Center before retiring in 2010. Elizabeth cherished time with family, loved lighthouse-themed travels with her late husband, and enjoyed sewing and needlework. A lifelong Orioles fan, she fondly recalled watching the 1966 World Series parade from her dorm window. Active in her church community, she is remembered for her warmth, dedication, and quiet joy in simple pleasures.
