Rowena Catherine Gardner, 92, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, in Westminster. Born April 2, 1933, in Baltimore, she graduated from Ellicott City High School in 1952 and married her beloved husband, James Gardner, that same year. Rowena worked in several roles, including school bus driver, positions at Fort Meade, and the Board of Education, retiring as a dedicated teacher’s aide. She loved dancing, bowling, golf, and playing the accordion and organ. She cherished time at their beach home in Bethany Beach and leaves behind a large, loving family.
