Vaughn N. Holsonbake, 86, of Westminster, Maryland, passed away on February 24, 2026. Born February 4, 1940, in California, Vaughn served honorably in the U.S. Air Force before earning a bachelor’s degree and working for many years as a dedicated civil engineer. He was married to the late Linda Sue (Cowley) Holsonbake, with whom he raised three sons: Brian, Jason, and Kevin. Vaughn cherished his grandchildren Katie, Patrick, Aiden, Kayla, Kiersten, Dylan, and great-grandson Elijah. An avid camper and traveler, he loved working on home projects, helping others, and maintaining connections to his family heritage, including visits to relatives in Oklahoma.
