Donald Wayne Bixler, 85, passed away on February 25, 2026, at home with his wife. Born to Harry Edward Bixler and Dorothy McNeave Bixler, Don graduated from Westminster High School in 1958, where he played football and baseball, and later worked as a licensed stockbroker. After experiencing a life-changing faith in Jesus, he devoted much of his life to Christian ministry. With his first wife, Judy Lee Bixler (deceased 2012), he helped found ministries serving the poor in South Africa and spent twelve years there as missionaries. Don later married Jeanne in 2018. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
