Wanda Ann Deel, 67, of Sykesville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. Born November 21, 1958, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Ruth Ann (Johnson) Schwarting. Wanda was a devoted wife to James P. “Buzz” Deel and a loving mother to Christopher J. Deel and Joseph Deel. She also assisted for many years as the bookkeeper for her husband’s business. Wanda was known for her caring spirit and creativity, enjoying gardening, cooking, crafting, and sewing. She is also survived by her sister, Judith Ann Dash, and many family members who will cherish her memory.
