James Andrew “Jim” Hurley, 70, of Eldersburg, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, surrounded by family. Born November 6, 1955, in the Boston area, he was the son of the late John Paul Hurley and Patricia Anne Hurley. Jim graduated from South Carroll High School and built a career working with computer-aided design and manufacturing systems in the garment industry before later working in sales and support roles. He earned a degree in biblical studies from Charis Bible College and was active in church ministry, most recently serving as a deacon at Freedom Church in Westminster. He is survived by his wife, children, stepchildren, siblings, and extended family.
