William Arthur Desautels, Sr., 87, of Westminster, passed away peacefully at the Gardens of Gettysburg Nursing Home. Born June 3, 1938, he was the son of Theodore and Marian Desautels. He was the beloved husband of Barbara and a devoted father to Bill, Mike, Kenny, and Michele. He is also remembered by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sons, John, Chip, and Dana, and was the last of five siblings. A member of Local 1, he worked as a drywall mechanic. He enjoyed sporting clays and spending time with family and friends throughout his life.
