Philip H. Emery Jr., 91, of Westminster, Maryland, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born in Portland, Maine, he earned degrees from the University of Maine and went on to achieve a distinguished career in the paper industry, including leadership roles with Westvaco Corporation, where he served as a senior vice president before retiring in 1999. A dedicated professional and lifelong learner, he was active in numerous industry and community organizations. In retirement, he enjoyed life at Deep Creek Lake, music, and service to local causes. Philip was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Sylvia.
