Michael Lee Hanigan, Jr., 79, of Olney, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at the Veterans Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Born to the late Michael Lee and Ruth Hanigan, he was the devoted husband of Karen Marie Hanigan for 33 years. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Michael also built a career as a security supervisor. He loved sports, collecting baseball cards, and sharing life with his beloved cocker spaniels. Known for his kindness, gentle strength, and devotion to family and friends, Michael will be fondly remembered by all who knew him, including his in-laws, close friends, and cherished companions.
