A local student has been recognized among the region’s top young leaders.
Reagan Ganjon, the 2025 Junior Youth of the Year at the Boys & Girls Club of Carroll County, has been selected as one of Junior Achievement’s “18 Under 18” honorees, recognizing outstanding youth leadership in the Baltimore area.
Ganjon was chosen for her entrepreneurial initiative as a leader of the club’s Entrepreneur Club, where she helps produce and sell freeze-dried candy at markets throughout Carroll County. She also contributed to writing a successful grant proposal to HEY Westminster, securing a $1,000 award to support the group’s efforts. In addition to product development and sales, Ganjon manages inventory and tracks profit and loss for the club’s business activities.

Beyond her entrepreneurial work, Ganjon has demonstrated leadership within the club community. She served as a Leader in Training last summer and organized a collection of field hockey equipment, as well as a three-day clinic with local coaches to introduce the sport to fellow club members.
An awards presentation for “18 Under 18” recipients is scheduled for May 7. Ganjon will host a table at the event, where she will meet attendees and share information about her work with the Entrepreneur Club.
Club officials described Ganjon as a positive and consistent presence, noting her kindness and leadership among her peers.
