Shrewsbury Fireman’s Carnival
The Shrewsbury Fireman’s Carnival returns to town June 22–27, bringing one of York County’s most popular annual events back for a full week of fun. Guests can enjoy rides, games, delicious food, and nightly entertainment, making it a perfect outing for the whole family. Even better, all proceeds from the carnival go directly back to support the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company. Ride-all-night wristbands are available every evening.
Entertainment kicks off each night at 7:00 PM with a great lineup of live music throughout the week. Performers include Tanner Mountain Band on Monday, Dean Phillips Band on Tuesday, Wyatt Becker Band on Wednesday, Cody Tyler & Gypsy Convoy on Thursday, Colt Wilbur Band on Friday, and Stonewood closing out the event on Saturday.
Carnival hours run Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and Friday through Saturday from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Parking is available for a $1.00 donation. Please note that alcohol, coolers, and pets are not permitted on the grounds. Entry is located on Playground Avenue, just off North Main Street.
Special events throughout the week add even more excitement. Fireworks will light up the sky on Friday, June 26 at 10:30 PM, with shuttle service available from Grace Fellowship Church across from Wendy’s. The Shrewsbury Parade takes place Saturday, June 27 at 4:00 PM along downtown Main Street. On Wednesday, June 24 at 6:00 PM, the “Salute to America” celebration will honor America 250 with patriotic music and special guests.
The fire company stands offer plenty of classic carnival favorites and games, including Carl’s Cookshack, a funnel cake stand, soda stand, BINGO, dime pitch, flower wheel, pull/rip tickets, chance stand, candy wheel, grocery wheel (located at the stage), and a nightly 50/50 raffle.
