Floyd Collins, Sr., 96, of Westminster, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, at Carroll Hospital. Born December 31, 1929, in Lee County, Virginia, he lived a long life rooted in faith, hard work, and dedication to family. A skilled machinist by trade, Floyd was known for his practical nature and ability to repair and build anything by hand. He enjoyed motorcycles in his younger years, and later found joy in working on small engines, cars, and bowling. A devoted member of Granite Missionary Baptist Church, his faith remained central throughout his life. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and extended family, and was preceded in death by a son and siblings.
