Featuring more than 150 sculptures, dioramas, graphic arts, oversized characters and mosaics created and inspired by PEEPS, this sweet event attracts thousands of visitors each year. The 263-seat movie theatre will feature short PEEP videos and footage of PEEPS being created in the Just Born Factory. Free Admission. Taneytown Honors Veterans with Military Banner Program
Hesson-Snider American Legion Auxiliary Unit 120 and the city of Taneytown are participating in the Military Banner Program to honor local veterans. Created to pay tribute to the brave men and women who are serving, have served, or have given their life in the line of duty while serving in the armed forces. Any active, retired or deceased military personnel who live, have lived or who may still have family members residing in the 21787 and 21757 ZIP code areas will be honored. Banners with the veteran’s photo and branch of service will be displayed on the light post along East and West Baltimore streets, Frederick Street and York Street during the months of May (for Memorial Day) and November (for Veterans Day), honoring their service to our country.
