Marriott Davis Streaker, a lifelong resident of Sykesville, Howard County, passed away May 25 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster in his 94th year. Born near West Friendship, he was the son of the late Oscar Riggs and Edna Amelia Davis Streaker. A graduate of Sykesville High School and the University of Maryland College of Engineering, he worked as an engineer for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration at Goddard before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed genealogy, local history, cemetery preservation, bicycling, tennis, vintage machinery, and reading. He is survived by his wife Martha, children Emily and Henry, extended family, and friends who will cherish his memory.
