Richard O’Brien, 89, of Finksburg, Maryland, passed away on May 31, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Clifton and Margaret O’Brien. A U.S. Army veteran, Richard spent many years working as a home improvement contractor and was also a skilled wood carver. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and playing cards with family and friends. He is remembered for his craftsmanship, service, and devotion to family. Richard is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
