Westminster VFW 250th Celebration

The community is invited to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday at VFW Post 467, located at 519 Poole Road in Westminster, on Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Rain date: July 18.) The celebration will begin with an opening ceremony featuring the Old Line Statesmen Barbershop Chorus, followed by live entertainment from Stone Country Band at noon, Stillwater Band at 4 p.m., and music by DJ Scott between performances. Families can enjoy kids’ games, face painting, raffles, 50/50 drawings, and food and drinks available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, and outside coolers are not permitted.
