George William Dodson, Sr., 74, of Taneytown, passed away on June 25, 2026, at his residence. Born on May 6, 1952, he was the son of the late George Lee and Frances Mae Dodson. A 1970 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School, George retired in 2017 after 17 years as a delivery driver for NAPA Auto Parts. He enjoyed playing softball and spending time watching Storage Wars, NCIS, NASCAR, and professional wrestling. George is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol Dodson; his two sons; four sisters; many nieces and nephews; and was preceded in death by his two brothers.
