David Wayne Mattingly, 71, of Point of Rocks and formerly of Suitland, passed away on June 23, 2026. Born in Suitland, Maryland, on November 14, 1954, he was the son of the late Harvey Wayne Mattingly, Sr. and Mary Mattingly. David was the loving husband of Lisa Mattingly for 20 years and a dedicated member of Local 602 Steamfitters for 50 years. He enjoyed baseball, golf, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, stepchildren Steven, Robbie, and Michael Geyer; brothers Jimmy and John Mattingly; grandchildren Carson, Cade, and Riggs; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three siblings.
