John T. Ridinger Circus Wood Carvings Exhibit

Step into history and artistry at the Taneytown History Museum on Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., for a special exhibit featuring the remarkable John T. Ridinger Circus Wood Carvings. Admire the intricate, hand-carved circus figures that celebrate the craftsmanship and imagination of John T. Ridinger. Visitors can also explore the museum’s “We the People: 250+ (1754–2026)” exhibit, which highlights more than 250 years of local and American history. Admission is free, with ample parking available for all guests. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be served from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., making it a perfect afternoon outing for families, history enthusiasts, and art lovers alike.
