Linda Sue Thompson, 76, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 8, 2026, at Transitions in Gettysburg. Born in Baltimore on March 15, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Francis Elvin Snyder and Mae Belle Hooper McKinney. Linda enjoyed completing jigsaw and crossword puzzles, playing computer games, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Tammy J. West and Fred Thompson III; six siblings; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa L. Snyder, and her sister, Sharon. Linda will be remembered for her love of family and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.
