Lois Ann Smith, 85, of Taneytown, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, surrounded by her three granddaughters at Kline Hospice House. A graduate of Taneytown High School’s Class of 1958, Lois built a successful career as a licensed cosmetologist while creating lasting friendships with those she served. Known as “Mom-mom,” she was the heart of her family, remembered for her kindness, generosity, warm hugs, and unconditional love. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Randolph Smith, her children, grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
