David “Dave” Hall, 79, passed away on July 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, generosity, and compassion. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 1, 1947, he was the son of the late George Frank Hall and Mary June Gudgen Hall and the beloved husband of Wanda Barnes Hall. A devoted father, grandfather, and brother, Dave was known for his lifelong commitment to helping others. In retirement, he volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, helping build 47 homes, and designed adaptive devices for children with disabilities through Volunteer Medical Engineering. At Carroll Lutheran Village, he was affectionately known as the community’s “Fix-It Man.”
