Donald Ray Warehime, known affectionately as Ray, Pop, Grandpa, Pap and Albert Gupenhiemer, passed away peacefully at his home on August 25, 2026, at age 95. Born in Reisterstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Walton and Hilda Warehime. Ray was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Caroline, and his brother, Paul. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. A lifelong “doer,” Ray worked for the B&O Railway, served in the U.S. Army, managed Shriner’s Manufacturing Company and owned Rainbow Farm and Home Center. He enjoyed inventing, helping others, roller skating and neighborhood watch duties.
