Mary Susan Compton, 67, of Emmitsburg, MD, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at her residence. Born April 26, 1959, in Silver Spring, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ethel and Howard Morrison. Mary was the loving wife of 50 years to Allen Jackson Compton and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her husband, children Scott Compton and his wife, Amy, and Krista Bollinger and her husband, Wayne; grandchildren Madison, Devin, Tyler, Jacob, Abigail, and Owen; great-grandson Walker; and sister Judy. Mary enjoyed sewing, gardening, and vacations in Ocean City.
