Shirley Irene Frock Prutch, 91, of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully. Born July 21, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Gladys Frock. Shirley shared more than 50 years with her beloved husband, Sam, who died in 2025. She began her career as a teacher before a long and distinguished career with Martin Marietta. Shirley enjoyed reading, bridge, golf, gardening, travel, fine food, and caring for rescued cats. Known for her intelligence, strength, humility, warmth, and kindness, she was deeply loved by her family and friends. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and twinkling blue eyes will be greatly missed.
