Sister Elizabeth Ann (Shirley Elizabeth) Lingg, 93, died on April 12, 2025, at Villa St. Michael in Emmitsburg, MD. Born May 18, 1931, in Hanover, PA, she joined the Daughters of Charity in 1949. A pharmacist and hospital administrator, she earned degrees from St. John’s University and George Washington University. Her ministries included leadership roles at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Sisters of Charity Hospital, and St. Agnes Hospital. She also served in pastoral care and on the Provincial Council. Known for her devotion and service, she is survived by her brother George, extended family, friends, and her religious community.
