Alice Virginia Dyer (née Sexton), 76, of Mt. Airy, MD, passed away on January 26, 2026, at her home. Born January 12, 1950, in Whitesburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Nanabelle Sexton and the beloved wife of Kenneth Owen Dyer for 56 years. A devoted homemaker, Alice cherished her family, her grandchildren, and her cats, and she loved celebrating Christmas. She is survived by her son, Joshua Ryan Dyer; her brother, Robert David Sexton and his wife Bobbie; and granddaughters Savannah and Caroline. She was preceded in death by her siblings Hubert Sexton, Julia Margaret Johnson, and Dixie Petrie.
