Amy Leigh Wheatley, 45, of Westminster, Maryland, passed away on February 27, 2026. Born October 22, 1980, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Amos L. Wheatley, III and Caroline B. Carver, and stepfather James G. Carver. Amy grew up with her siblings Amos IV and Jennifer Figard and was cherished by extended family and friends. A dedicated athlete, she competed for 30 years in the Maryland Special Olympics, earning state-level honors, and was active with the Wynwood Community Swim Team. Amy loved camping at Camp Green Top, movies—especially John Travolta films—and spending time with her lifelong friend Alan Davis. She is remembered for her joyful spirit, perseverance, and the love she shared with all.
