Anna Louise Lamont, 93, of Gettysburg, passed away at home on February 27, 2026. Born December 14, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Nellie Zepp and a 1949 graduate of Westminster High School. She later graduated from Towson State Teachers College in 1969 and became a dedicated special physical education teacher in Carroll County. Anna introduced roller skating into the PE program and launched Jump Rope for Heart through the American Heart Association in memory of her father, leading her “Kangaroo Kids.” She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren, and extended family.
