Barbara Helen Rothermel, 89, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Born in Easton, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved wife of 67 years to Charles Rothermel, Sr. Barbara enjoyed gardening, reading thrillers, shopping from catalogs, and watching movies. Her career included roles with the Delaware River Toll Bridge Commission, Easton Trust, and Giant Food. A member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, she is survived by her husband, three sons, four grandchildren, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held October 10 at Haight Funeral Home, with interment at Highland View Cemetery.
