Bertha Christine Boner, 86, of Eldersburg, MD, passed away peacefully Jan. 30, 2026, at Casey House in Derwood, MD. Born July 14, 1939, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Christian Howard and Ella Clark Reickenbecker. Christine earned degrees from Western Maryland College and William & Mary, later teaching biology and supporting special needs students in Carroll County. A talented musician, she sang and played piano in her church choir and was a proud member of the Carroll County Choral Arts Society. She shared 59 years with her husband, Goswin Boner, and is survived by their three sons, grandchildren, and extended family. Christine cherished family, music, and her love of animals.
