Betty Jean Sauter, 92, of Rockdale, MD, passed away on November 18, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born June 29, 1933, in Hebbville to John Harry and Edith V. Subock, she was the devoted wife of Herbert V. Sauter for 72 years. A lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, Betty dedicated her life to caring for loved ones, especially in recent years for her daughter and husband. She is survived by her husband, daughter Kathleen Dell and husband Charles, grandchildren Daniel (Tammi) and Katie Dell, and great-grandchildren Wyatt and Morgan. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa and sisters Lucille Widerman and Shirley Subock.
